What is the stations focus?
The focus of the station is too provide the listeners with a variety of music and talk show like sections. The music is from a majority of 90's and current music. There are multiple hosts who present the show, they talk about topics such as news, Brighton, everyday occasion and current affairs. Who are the target audience? The target audience is mixed gender of ages 20 - 40, this is because they have a wide variety of music from different generations and talk about topics which would appeal to them |

Radio 1xtra has a target audience of around 15-29 because of their style of music and themes they have throughout the entire show for example they play music such as grime which is very popular in the UK, they also play R&B and top of the charts music which a lot of young audience members or even all of the listeners. They also have this target audience because of the average age of their presenters which ranges from 25-40 but most are quite young. An audience member maybe a 21yr old male named Darren who likes current music but especially rab and he probably works a simple 9-5 job.

Radio 1xtra has a remit which is listen, watch and share. 1xtra aspires to be the Netflix of radio. The station does have aloof popular shows that lead to this aspiration, such as A. Dot a popular presenter who does prank calls with guests who are usually grime artists or popular music artists which can be relatable, there is also Ace who does R&B hours, plays hip hop 100 playlists and live lounges. Finally there is Charlie Sloth who does his famous fire in the booths with artists.
