The best way that my client can market this product is by putting it around the surrounding cities therefore allowing people to come to Cambridge. My client will will distribute my product by putting it on train stations and the underground, airports, billboards in busy cities etc Explain two ways your product could be marketed to audiences in the digital age. Use examples from your product. My two products are both on print because they are, a digital billboard and a poster. The content of these print products is to inform people all over England or the world of Cambridge’s multi-cultural and diverse world anyone of any ethnicity is welcome. My billboard is a digital billboard which includes a slow pan of the Mill Road bridge ( the one with all of the flags beautifully painted on it and for each country you see with a different language you will get Welcome to Cambridge in that specific language, then it will go white and say Come to Cambridge in the Cambridge blue colour and then the log line below will say The DiverCity. The fact that it is a digital billboard makes it a bit easier to advertise so a part of it most likely the end when it says Come to Cambridge… The DiverCity. The poster includes pictures of all of Cambridge’s most famous sights but the words Come to Cambridge are cut out and lots of different flags fill up the words and then the log line is at the bottom stating again The DiverCity. This could become a pop-up advert on social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Identify 3 channels of distribution for your product that may be considered successful in the digital age in terms of your product(s) reaching it’s audience. Justify your answer. My products are print based and therefore it is harder to distribute in the digital age and this means that I will have a smaller audience to distribute to. There are some ways to distribute my products for example my billboard could be distributed on Spotify by emailing my digital billboard to them [email protected], will be good because most of the adverts have no dialogue and most people have Spotify to listen to music and after each advert they say if you want any more information click the banner to find out. For my poster I could distribute it in two different ways, one way is to put it on a tourist attraction website this will be good because many people can see that Cambridge is a great place to go. Another place that you can put it is on a online newspaper and this could be could because now that online newspapers are becoming a popular thing it would be a great platform for the poster to bee scene by everyone that looks at the news.

P2: TITLE - CREATE SAMPLE MATERIALS TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSAL
Welcome to Cambridge Billboard The picture of the bridge and the fact that it pans will help me sell the proposal because I think that this has not be done before that being using an unusual attraction that nobody really looks at but it is really beautiful and it represents Cambridge and how multi-cultural it is. Even the combination of diverse and city is really clever and I think people will really appreciate it. The fact that I am going to include a lot of different language which means that I can communicate to a lot of people without changing to much which could help selling the proposal because you won’t have to worry about changing the language for different countries. This will all help with the finish production because now I know roughly what it is going to look like. Poster The involvement of different Cambridge sights helps sell the proposal because I am already involving Cambridge’s most famous sights which is good for tourism and the fact that I involved the flags which link to the billboard and make the poster colourful and it appeals to people of different ethnicities especially the people that have their country flags on the poster. This has helped with the final production because now I know what I need to do to achieve what I need to achieve.

Justify content, distribution and marketing methods identified for the planned production to meet a client brief
Explain what you know about your client. I know that our client is a member of the Cambridge City Council as the brief given was to make a promotional product for your local City which is Cambridge. I know that our client wants a high quality product as they are looking for something that can actually use to promote Cambridge. They want me to show the positives within the city so that more tourists and students come to Cambridge to visit and maybe to study. Also they will want my products to be aesthetically pleasing to anyone that sees it so when people see it they are wanting to come to Cambridge.
Explain in detail how your content will be relevant to your client My product will be relevant to the client as my product will meet the brief of what the council wants, for example because I am making a promotional billboard for different cultures and the diversity in Cambridge, I am having different flags from different countries on the billboard showing how culturally diverse the city is as well as how welcoming it is for people from different countries. Also the pictures I am using of iconic buildings like Cambridge University this is relevant to the client because the building is beautiful making Cambridge itself look beautiful, also it demonstrates that the university is well known all around the world for its academic prowess and for welcoming students from different countries to study. The punt picture I am using is also relevant to the client as the punts are a very iconic part of Cambridge because it is near enough at the heart of Cambridge showing off Cambridge's beautiful scenery and its very pleasing. The effects going to be used on the pictures will be relevant to the client as they will brighten up the picture as well as bright font colours, this will be relevant to the client as this will shine a positive light on the city making it look better and more pleasing when people see the promotional products online of around in other cities.
Explain in detail how realistic and feasible your content will be to make. I think that my promotional products of a poster and a billboard are feasible and realistic as I don't need a lot of equipment to make the products, for example I will need a DSLR camera, picture editing software (Photoshop 13.0.05), Illustrator, Camera man and an editor. All of these pieces of equipment and job roles can be met as the equipment is already available to me at school as I can borrow a DSLR camera for the pictures and the editing software is already installed onto the computers at school, ao all of these things are realistic and feasible because To fill the roles I have myself, I believe I am capable of illustrating the product out and planning, the role of a camera man can be filled by me as well as I am not using many pictures so taking the images will not be hard. Also I feel I have the skills to edit the pictures as I have edited picture using the same software so I have experience as well as I know how to work it and I know what I want my products to look like so I think I'm the best to do it. Because I am doing a low budget production through print the feasibility is raised as I don't have to pay for anything making it more realistic that I will be able to make it because it was too expensive to make the feasibility was drop as I wont be able to afford it. Also because I don't have many places to go an where I go is close and all within Cambridge so the location is also feasible as it is easy to get from one location to the next.
Explain what realistic and feasible methods (both digital and physical) your client could use to distribute and market your product. One realistic and feasible method my client could use to market the product could be through social medias like Facebook or Twitter on a Cambridge city council page of Cambridge culture page, this way my product can be talked about so people are excited to eventually see the finished product and how it promotes Cambridge. Also a lot of people will see the product this way as so many people use social media and also it would aim more at our target audience of tourist and young people (students) as they use social media a lot. This is feasible and realistic as making an account for social media is quick and easy and if they already have one then they can easily market it on there by simply writing something about it or showing a sneak peak of a draft as it doesn't cost anything. Also it could be distributed on social media as well like Facebook again or Cambridge councils own site. This could be a good idea as social medias are used a lot by a range of different people including my target audience so putting it up is a brilliant idea and I believe it will bring in more visitors to the city as well as students. The feasibility of the distributing the product in this way is high and realistic as there are a lot of twitter accounts for Cambridge like Cambridge university and the union as well making it more feasible as there are already suitable sites out there or accounts they can use to distribute the product, which is free or making it easier by making an account and distributing it that way. Another way of distributing the product is through magazines like the Cambridge magazine or other city magazines promoting Cambridge or promoting different parts of Cambridge within the Cambridge magazine. This is realistic as the magazine is for Cambridge so its likely they would take promotional content for Cambridge and use that within the magazine. This is feasible as getting in touch with the magazine company is probably easy and getting the billboard and poster within the magazine probably wont cost much or even any as I helps promote Cambridge more.
Skill Set
Do you have all the skills necessary to carry out this task professionally? If not what will you do? I think that I have fairly high quality of skills to do this task but that doesn't mean I am professional at the moment I am mediocre . I believe that my time management are good enough for this task as I will make sure I space out my tasks making sure that I have the right amount of time for pre-production, production and post-production. In terms of organisational skills I think that I am confident about what I am going to be doing so I won't be panicking at any point. I am not to confident Illustration skills and the skills to draw and plan my promotional content as I I am not good at drawing but because it really doesn't have to be perfect I am confident that it will be fine. Also camera work, I feel I have enough experience with DSLR's and camera focus and modes to know what I am doing however I feel the photos I will take could be of higher quality as I am not a professional photographer and if someone of that profession were to take the picture they would be higher quality. For editing I have used Photoshop before to edit similar pictures of boats within Cambridge so I know what kind of effects to use and how to overall navigate the software. However my skills are not at professional standard and I feel I could be better also ive never had to make promotional content before so I have no experience of that and I how I make something look better so it promotes it positively. Because I know I don't have professional level skills before going in I am going to try and practice more on Photoshop with editing and trying out different effects and seeing were the effects work and whether they would work within my products. Also I will ask my teacher to teach me some skills with the camera and the editing software so I can gain some skills before editing so I can further my skill and hopefully get closer to professional level or at least expand my experience.
